The site holds approximately 1,452 graves, with the oldest marked burial dating back to 1875. The cemetery is deeply connected to the early settlement of the area, originally named Zanzenberg by Dr. Charles Ganahl before becoming Center Point.
The marker is located at the Center Point Cemetery, approximately 0.5 miles southwest of Center Point on Farm Road 480.
